Ravenswood’s on-site lab services are available to patients with a physician order.
Lab provides venipunctures services for only RFHN and May View patients from the newborn to geriatric. We use straight needles and butterfly needles. We strive to make our patients feel as comfortable as we can to have a good experience in the lab. Our drawing chairs can recline and turn to help with comfort. We draw on a table with wheels to also help with patients comfort. We have the ability to draw in a private room. Prepare specimen to send to quest to get tested.
Additional Services
We perform pap smears, culture swabs and glucose test for Ob patients. We provide Stool kits for colon cancer screening, h-pylori, E.coli, and parasites among other tests.
Fast 8-10 hours and you can drink your meds with water only. Our lab can draw for a variety of test, a few examples are lipid (cholesterol), a1c, STD testing and prenatal testing. Which can include Natera (genetics testing for mom and baby).
