The purpose of the visit is to determine what is causing the child's symptoms and provide appropriate treatment to start their recovery from their illness.
The Central Parenting Team is an interagency funded team which has responsibility for all parenting activity and performance management of the Parenting Support Framework within Ravenswood. The program provides a range of parenting support options to parents and careers of children aged between 0-16 years of age.
At this exam, the health care provider will check the child's growth and development in order to find or prevent problems. The provider will record your child's height, weight, and other important information. Hearing, vision, and other screening tests will be part of some visits. So will immunizations.

Chronic disease management provides comprehensive care for illnesses that last three months or longer. There’s no way to cure a chronic disease, but with early diagnosis and intervention, it’s possible to minimize the severity of symptoms and reduce the risk of future complications.
